Another example of the unique design capabilities of Aflex the Self Inflating Marker Buoy (SIMB) is simple to use and very effective inflatable bouy. With no need for a blower or air pump the SIMB is manufactured from high quality PVC and fitted with handles and grab-lines. SIMB inflates itself when deployed in the water, unlike bulky pre inflated products multiple SIMB can be easily transported and deployed in place. The self inflating buoy is an ideal racing buoy for events in the water requiring a removable marker. SIMB makes a great swimming buoy, yachting buoy or marker buoy. The fast deployment and easy storage make it great for not just swimming and yachting races but also surf life-saving events, canoe, rowing and kayak races. Melbourne Yacht Squadron Uses Aflex® SIMB
Specifically designed for use by maritime organizations, the Self Inflatable Marker Buoy is used by the Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron.
The Self Inflatable Marker Buoy (SIMB) is suited to maritime operations, (Yacht clubs, Power Boat races, Open water swimming, Surf Life Saving) as it has no need for a blower, a gas tank or an air pump. The distinctive marker buoy inflates itself by using the dynamics of buoyancy force and trapper air.
